what am I?

A while back, I played for a wedding at the Valley Green Inn. There were a whole bunch of ducks and geese that hang out there. In addition to the regular varieties that one would expect, there were a few of these creatures:

If I had to venture a guess, I'd say some kind of Brown Chinese Goose/X cross. Not sure what the other breed would be, but it's gotta have a shorter-than-normal neck.

Shrug. I actually think it looks really cool. Now I want one as a pet.

And thanks for knowing stuff. I never would have been able to figure out the resemblance to the Chinese Goose. I poked around a little bit and found some pictures... it seems to most closely resemble an African Goose.

If you're ever down around that area of the woods, check it out - you can probably see them in real life.

I'm going to agree with your African Goose hypothesis, after a few seconds of Google research. I just threw out Chinese Goose because I'd seen them before and knew they had that weird lump on their bill.
