Having both sexes always appealed to me b/c I can just imagine the horror of my daughter when she stars her period and a curious brother decides to mess with her by sneaking maxi pads and doing whatever boys do w/ fresh maxipads. :) Hee hee... and she'll give them a run for their money when they are in middle/high school. How fun!

Not saying I wouldn't be thrilled w/ a girl either, I jsut always found the connections between brothers and sisters charming. Two girls would be awesome for us too - heck even three... I'd love three kids someday - of whatever sex. Hopefully that's in the stars for us.

Didn't get a chance to reply to your last post but a hearty congrats to you on your girl! She is going to turn your home upside down! Oh, and every little girl needs a big brother and your lucky lady will have 2 wonderful big brothers to take care of her and to boss around! How fun and wonderful!

Oh, and I am not a girly-girl and never thought I would be, but I have found my feminine side having a little girl!

I'm so thrilled for you Patience. :) Boys are lovely, truly, but girls are so sweet too.

Congratulations to all of you. :)

oh I find the girl clothing world horrifying too! When left to my own devices I buy as much stuff from the boy section of Gymboree as the girl section- not to purposefully buck gender issues so much as that's what I really like. Plus dresses get all scootched up in the sling anyway ;)
