Yeah, we don't have rr anymore, but somehow they didn't turn off the email address, so things go off into the abyss. simi@simidenson.com should work forever and ever, if all goes as planned. ;) At least it's easy to remember!

Kindergarten is a trip. How did we get to be the parents of school-aged children? So odd.

I love it! I posted earlier this week about attending a former co-worker's wedding, and there were so many little touches at the wedding that made me thing, WC folk would love this. But the really funny part is that about a week before the wedding, a male co-worker asked me if I was going to the wedding and whether I'd bought a gift yet. Yes, and yes. He's about 25, or maybe a little older. "Yeah,I found their registry through something called the Wedding Channel?" he told me in one of those half-statement/half-question tones. I said I'd gone to The Knot first because that's what was listed on one of the wedding-related mailings. (Not that they listed their registry on the invitation. That would have been tacky. No, there was a card that gave a knot.com-related address for their Wedding Web site.) Male co-worker was very clueless about either The Knot or the WC. As my boss was nearby, I figured that was probably not the time to mention how well I knew the WC, although I came *this* close to saying, "You know my friend I visited last

i thought it was a great history lesson of sorts...WC was kinda cutting edge for it's time huh? jen and i were discussing how weird/amazing it was to be at the semi-beginning of blogging.

i gotta tell ya it's just wrong that we are so close and still have not met...i go to see jen about once a month, we really should meet up sometime.
