YOU LOOKIN' AT ME?

"YGO 5D" makes me think that the people who came up with the series name slipped when they intended to type, "8D". As in "8D! LET'S SEE HOW MANY PEOPLE WE CAN GET TO SWALLOW THIS SERIES!"

I-It's not Takahashi, guys. Honestly. He stopped being the one in charge of the story when DM ended.

That is probably true.

And made harder by the fact that the few people who make sense are kind of being drowned out by the deluge of !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

It makes me want to cry. Y'know. Becauase my eyes are actually burning.
I really can't look at the new main character without thinking 'OMG, what did Mokuba do to his HAIR?!!' The similarities between whats-his-face and Mokuba are quite striking, whats-his-face (I'll probably end up knowing later though *woe at the thought of being dragged out of her denial*) just looking a bit more...grown-up?
If you look at the three series, you can see the evolution of the characters....well, with the whole look, to be honest. Take the 'uniform' outfits of the original YGO - quite plain, pretty simple, wonderfully easy to wear in different styles .(I still want to know how the hell Yami Yugi managed to wear his jacket as a cape, and NOT have it fall off of his shoulders with all the hand-flailing and finger-pointing he did.)The second series - basically it's he same outfit, in bright primary colours, with a few more buttons and lapels added here and there ( ... )
