I've been home now a total of 3 and a half days and am having a hard time transitioning back to life here on the "mainland" , as Hawaiian islanders would say, longing for the smells of the hibiscus and ginger and salty ocean and the abundance of beauty everywhere and in everything, including the people. You'd love Hawaii Bec --- esp. given what you've shared about yourself thus far -- it's such a free and liberal and open place. The tatt's that folks had were incredible -- esp. on the clothing-optional black sand beaches where you got to view ALL of them :)
Yes, swimming with dolphins is something that everyone should experience in their lifetime -- it was so magical. I hope you and Steve and his little girl get to do that (perhaps you will simply visit me when I eventually move there ? It can happen !)

Wow, sounds like an amazing vacation. I've always wanted to go to Hawaii. One day I will. But at least I got to talk to you, Beth and Dawn on the phone while you enjoyed the islands. It was almost as good as being there. ;)
