Today was rather uneventful except for the impromptu car ride with Victor, Zach, and Scotty to Subway at lunch, which was fun. :)
And now I'm determined not to eat until Wednesday so my stomach is at optimum capacity for the Mandarin. ;-) Just kidding. But I certainly won't be eating breakfast on Wednesday, that's for sure. :P
For French, we have to do this incredibly stupid assignment regarding what we like about living in a technologically advanced society. And it has to be objective. So 5 good things, but 5 bad things as well. So far I've got (rift with sarcasm, of course):
Good thing: I can update my LJ with little to no effort.
Bad thing: The time it takes to update my LJ can, oh no gosh darn it, no longer be spent trekking through the great outdoors or something stereotypically more wholesome like that.
Good thing: Communication with others is faster and available is several more media than it was 20, 30 years ago.
Bad thing: I waste all my time on MSN instead of toiling away on stupid assignments (which is, of course, a bit of a catch-22).
Flah. Oh well. It's just busy work. Other than that the course is absolute gravy. :)
