Stolen mail/packages

I recently moved to Bellingham and I live on N Garden and Laurel. My question is if anyone has ever gotten their mail or packages stolen off their porch. I know it seems like something you shouldn't have to worry about but it happens sometimes. A book was supposed to be coming in the mail and it's not here and well you know...
