A companion piece to Lazy Days since I had 2 similar ideas for this prompt, so the setting the same but the endings very different ^_^

I took of my garden

as I was writing this.
Kangin loved the summer, not only for the weather, though he definitely enjoyed that, or the lack of clothes everyone wore because of it, though again the more skin the merrier, but summer brought Donghae out onto the lawn. Not so much sunbathing as just lounging out on the lawn, like he was some rare exotic flower soaking up the sunlight and revelling in it.
As he was now, spread out lying on the grass, book lying forgotten next to him as he basked in the suns gentle warmth. Such a peaceful sight, as the breeze kept the air nicely cool, a natural remedy to the bite of the suns rays that would surely be felt without it. It ruffled trough the other mans hair as he lay there, sunglasses resting on his face, sipping slightly with the gravity of his position, but he was sure his eyes would be closed to better feel the weather wash over him.
From here Kangin could see the headphones firmly lodged in Donghae’s ears and he felt like he should be admonishing him for missing out on the peaceful sounds of nature bathing the scene, the twittering of birds, and buzzing of insects, distant sounds of other people all taking full advantage of the gorgeous weather, but he didn't have the heart to. The serene look on his face would be shattered into that of a petulant child should he be so rudely disturbed, and whatever was gracing his ears must have been fitting, not often was Donghae so still listening to music, or ever in fact, always energetically dancing along or singing with all his might.
He almost felt like a voyeur as he watched him simply lie there such a picture of bliss, reflecting the season almost, with the bright summer clothes and subtle tan, he wouldn’t be shocked if advertisers barged in at any second to snap him up to sell the latest trend, it was so perfect.
How jealous anyone else must feel being able to look but not touch, gaze upon the sight but not fully experience it, only Kangin had the power to complete the picture, to bring that dazzling smile onto his face, all the natural light paling in comparison to its brilliance.
And thus Kangin concluded, ice cream was in order, for Fishie could never resist a yummy treat and Kangin couldn't resist the way Donghae would eat it, tongue lapping eagerly as it melted manipulating the swirls with his mouth, sucking his fingers into his mouth when he was too slow to not waste a drop. Not missing the chance to lean over and catch the wayward drips making their way down Donghae's chin when he was too slow, scooping them up with his tongue to bring them back to Donghae’s mouth and share them between battling tongues, ice cream now forgotten for something much sweeter.
But enough daydreaming. The real thing would be much more satisfying Kangin thought, as he scooped some ice-cream from the freezer into some cones, more than eager to go and bring Donghae back to reality with such a pleasant surprise.
He noticed that flies had started to buzz around the prostrate man, even daring to land on him seeming to gloat over the lack of imminent swatting,
"Oi, you're letting flies land all over you!" completely forgetting the sweet approach at Donghae's lack of attention, and lengthening his stride to bat them off of him, forcibly if necessary.
But just as he came within proper fly punishing distance he slipped in a wet patch in the grass and had to employ some severe undignified windmill arms to save himself an even more embarrassing faceplant. His ice cream paid the price though, going flying in the process to land with a splat a foot away from him, merging slowly with the pool of red seeping into the grass.

Sorry!!!!! Death fic again :S Forgive me? 0_____0 and Donghae is my favourite too!! I am clearly disturbed, but the idea wouldn't leave me alone and it did make quite a good trick or treat coupling of fics :P
