They definitely do. I really do think that _p is exceptionally bad, though. Somehow, it always has to become about education and friendships as if simply sitting in a room with someone and taking notes about US monetary policy or debating which of the Pevensie girls Lyra Silvertongue would be best paired with will somehow make it absolutely inevitable that you will fuck them, and as if these two simple situations can reveal everything one might need to know a person's sexual, emotional, and mental development in a way that age alone can't. And I do understand why numerical age is perhaps not the best way to set an age of consent. I've just never heard of a better way.
Duel enrollment combined with a summer birthday. It's really not particularly impressive; more the result of good planning than hard work.
I'm not on that group, and only happened by here because I saw on LJ stats that you had visited one of my blogs, but I DO have a variation of a response to that discussion

Huh. I hope I didn't creep you out. Have you mentioned anything about where you're from in a comm we're both in lately? I get weirdly curious about that sort of thing and anytime someone mentions "where I'm from..." without specifying I always go to their profile to see if a location is listed.
I completely disagree. An age of consent is necessary, not to protect teens from sex (teens are rarely [with notable exceptions that I hate] punished for consensual sexual activity with people their own age) but to protect teens from adults. Religion has very little to do with this, since you'll find a very wide range of opinions within most social circles.
