I cried. I havn;t had a chance to call MJM or James yet, the weekend was hectic, but I'll probably call MJM sometime today. I think after 15 years of solid studio and touring time it finally all just caught up with Grant and James. THose poor guys were getting OLD! ;)

Yeah, my jaw just hung open for a good five minutes in disbelief. I still really can't believe it.

And "old" is just a frame of mind. :)

James has been playing with a new band for months now so he'll still definitely be around. Let's see what he does next...

This makes me sick, but I called it months and months ago. I knew it was coming; I'm just glad Marc and Grant are working together, and that James and Micheal are still collaborating. That show at One Eyed Jacks was fucking amazing-- James Hall is never going to lose that spark. And I don't know if anyone's been keeping up with the side projects, but Ours is my all time favorite band and what Micheal Jerome has been doing with the production of their new album and the drumming is just outstanding.
