Rose finished tying her wrap-around dress and took a step back to look at herself in the mirror. Her make-up was simple, her blonde hair in loose curls around her shoulders, the light color accentuating the dark blue of her dress. And black heels, couldn't forget the heels. It was flattering without being over-the-top elegant; judging by what she knew of Mal, she doubted he was the daily tux-wearing type. Though she wouldn't mind seeing that particular sight...
As usual, she didn't take her room key when she left her room. She didn't take anything, actually, except her sonic screwdriver (tucked into her bra) and the wedding ring on a chain around her neck (revealed by the low cut of her dress). She walked down the hall to the Captain's room and gave the door a good knock, waiting with a smile at the ready for when he opened the door.
