Oh, hell no. We have to wait two weeks to find out if Dani or Bobby gets with Tila Tequila for good? I am way, way, way, waaay too obsessed with this show for my own good. Or maybe it is for my own good. More possibly tomorrow ( Read more... )

I watched this inane show yesterday at four in the morning. It was the one where Amanda got kicked off. I think that by the end of the show me and her had the same amount of brain cells... which isn't saying a lot.

Oh Beth, you've fallen far from your Gilmore Girls days... at least that show had references to smart things, like Boris Yeltsin.

hey! This is your pre-frosh leader, in case you didn't figure it out. :) So I've gotten way too interested in this show, since I've been spending all winter break on comps, and I REALLY want to hear what you think of her choice...

At the very least I'm glad they didn't pose it as choosing a *gender* rather than choosing a person.

Sophiiie! I was going to open up a post about... this (aka our crushing loss, well, I don't know your "side," but I'm pretty bummed, even though I secretly--or not-so-secretly--want Dani for myself).

Hey! Yes, I'm glad they didn't frame it as "BOY VS. GIRL" except that Tila did say, "I ended up with a man"... like, duh. But the use of "wife" and "married" at the end chalked up lots of anger I never even realized I had against her! Did she want to conform? Blah?

I'm also still wiping the drool from my face. Thanks Dani. Dayuuum. More thoughts coming later!

I can't wait to read the firestorm of hate of AfterEllen.com...

also, I still don't get it. Like, I thought TEAM DANI had it made! The girl is definitely the most compatible, and I was totally blown away when she chose Blahhbby.

Yeah, what's with the marriage thing? I mean, conform or not, -how- long have the two of them known each other? That was like the most idiotic thing she said that entire episode.

Also, Dani was damn hot when she was all in love and stuff. Somehow I have no doubt that some lovely lady will find her after the show. :)

I really do want to know what Tila has to say about this whole thing. For a show that's supposedly all about how she's bi, she left her sexuality REALLY out of the finale. Is she still going to call herself bi? or has she "decided"? From a purely academic point of view, I was really disappointed by that whole episode. Unless it was trying to make the point that sexuality is about people, not genders, which is legitimate except without saying it outright, I -think- it's a little too subtle for the average MTV viewer.

I was actually really interested to hear what you had to say, what with your Comps being my personal fixation (on LiveJournal, anyway) and all of that jazz.

I was disappointed as well, I really felt like she had built up our hopes. I might copy this post onto the comments in the other entry I wrote, just because I like what you're saying about "deciding"-- it's a big theme of Look Both Ways, if you've read/are planning to read it.
