Songs aren't all meant to be lucious, 4-minute pieces of poetry that make you swoon and/or melt. Beth this is so disturbing. I haven't heard the song yet, or maybe I have and haven't noticed?? that seems unlikely given your description- watch I'll hear it when I go out tonight and be so mad. I want to repost this somewhere, or make someone publish it, or make EVERYONE EVER read it.

It is gross... surprised with all of your par-tay 500 weekending you didn't hear it. ;)

I was going to post what I just wrote on Feministing, not because I am Ms. Narcissistic but because it's important, but someone else beat me to the punch (http://community.feministing.com/2009/04/dont-trust-a-ho-or-this-band.html#more) which is great-- hers is good and likens the lyrics to supporting rape, which I didn't leap to, but I wouldn't oppose that argument, either.

I miss you, too!
