Who: Reno and Jacob Black What: Round 1 of the tournament When: during the event Where: tournament arena Summary: fighting, mostly Rating: uh... idk. We'll say Pg-13 for now, but it might change Open: Nope ( Midboss vs. Werewolf )
He didn't like it. He didn't like it one bit. Why did he have to fight just because some God said so? Why did his most important person have to be on the line? Sure, it had convinced him to fight, but he still didn't like it.
His white wings stretched out in anger as he found himself in the arena, facing the redhead man, his body already vibrating, preparing to transform in only a moment. He wasn't about to lose Bella, no matter what he had to do. He would fight till the end for her.
White wings? He wasn't expecting to have to fighting someone who was (nominally) on his side. Not that it mattered. He'd put his life on the line for Rufus before, he'd do it again in a heartbeat.
"Thought they'd be pittin' us 'gainst the other side," he drawled lazily, resting his EMR against his shoulder, amusement gleaming faintly in his eyes.
But amused though he might be, he was more than ready to spring into action as soon as it became necessary.
A cruel looking grin made it's entrance on Jacob's face as his body's vibrations increased.
"Looks like we both expected the same thing. But same side or not, I'm fighting, and I plan to finish this as quickly as possible."
With that, Jacob kicked off his shoes in a hurry, wanting to at least liberate that one part of his outfit as the transformation took place. In only seconds, what was left of his clothing was shredded into pieces in a storm of fur, and fangs. His paws padded at a quick pace against the ground as he headed in Reno's direction, teeth bared.
"Oh, I was expectin' as much," Reno answered, a cruel grin of his own spreading its way across his face as he swung his weapon of his shoulder, flicking it on in the same motion.
Jacob's transformation, however, caught him off guard for a split-second. "Jus' my luck," he mumbled, more to himself than anything else. But wolves - even overly large ones - still bled and died. Not like he hadn't done his share of killing monsters.
And if it wasn't taken aback by either the EMR swinging down on its muzzle or the corresponding jolt of electricity, he'd be very surprised indeed.
