Dude. I haven't posted in FOR EV ER. I've been working a LOT and I typically just come home and zone or try to be productive in some way. However, since this IS my journal, I feel I should record significant events in my life.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. You seem to be hanging in there amazingly well. Your strength is so inspiring to me. I admire you so much. It sounds like you have a good support system, which is so great. I wanted to come to his wake and/or funeral, but it didn't work out, and I'm sorry about that... but I've been thinking about you and praying for you constantly. As far as the kid stuff, Jeremy is totally right. Plus, who knows what medical advances will occur in the next 20 years. Maybe they will have some supersonic laser magic wand cancer zapper by then
