So all the 'buzz' in Cincinnati right now is about the 17 year Cicadas that are supposedly going to show up any minute. First they were going to be here last weekend according to the idiot newscasters. Apparantly they forgot to tell the cicadas, because they were a no-show. Just another indication that most people need to get a life. It's interesting that it's only every 17 years, but come on...they're bugs!

There's nothing like a good homemade cicada pie. A little ice cream on the side, it's the bomb-diggity.

Hi honey,
yep, you are right, but it is kind of fun. I don't know if you remember the "invasion" from before..... I was sweeping these little critters out of the kitchen!
We all need a sanity break now and then, and this is a nice break from all the regular horrible stuff that goes on. Tomorrow, at church, we are having a Cicada Sundae.... after church, we will have sundaes, with bug juice (chocolate sauce) Cicadaes are optional.
