1. Due date for script is the 28th of Feb.
2. Same for the design of the Protos! They're for the site after all :x
3. Character sheets for the 13th of March - That would be mains (Mio, Synn, Alos and Eina) and important secondaries (or at least Aki and Tia, both as normal and monstrous forms.) I'm happy with some of the other speaking parts.
I did go along to the NTSC meet last night, despite telling facebook how terrified I was. So sue me; the area it's in isn't exactly the safest. Tuesdays are always slow and during a production it's just the actors, but one of the guys playing is also one of the organizers, so he's nudging the membership officer for me. I've also been invited to the auditions on April 3rd for a much more dramatic play, I'm nervous but excited. I'm hoping I can work front of house on the play they're rehearsing now, maybe do a bit of set-work if I get on the email list even if most of it is already done...
...First day of the new work regime today. One of the head managers finally put her foot down and got me day hours (in shift) to work on the c/matters. Unfortunately it's mucked up everyone else's schedules, so hopefully it will not be the whole five hours, but maybe one or two. I'm annoyed, but never mind. We'll see how this goes. I've also lost my book - hopefully it is in my locker, but never mind. I am hoping that the Trinity Hospice donation is going to work out. It is a LOT of eggs, but...I feel like I owe those guys so I'll try to push it through.
Wave 15 slipped past customs and arrived today (Yay!). I'm hoping this is a continuing trend, it's not because of avoiding tax (well, it is) but to be honest it's a higher rate of VAT they shove on it on top of a customs declaration not the store trend like they're supposed to. I wouldn't mind paying the VAT if I didn't have to pay customs fees, or the custom fee was in fact the VAT - I find the whole thing incredibly cheeky because I'm charged at random and once or twice it's been something well under the cut-off point for free entry into the UK. Only Celes has an issue with her pock-marked plastic, Proxima is perfect. Paint job is so-so (but fine, it's light paint on dark plastic, so duh, what do you think is going to happen?).
THE BIG NEWS. My interview went okay with RHP. Despite it being in Teddington and despite my innitial 'I want an admin position plsplspls!' the customer/ complaints thing does actually sound like my deal. The contract would still sit around three months, but as the company is growing there could be an actual position in it - and if C/C works the same way as it does in my father's company, it could be a good thing. It's not just phones, it's contractors, databases, plans, legal, a lot of stuff that I'd like to sink my teeth into. Fingers crossed!
Okay! I have to get back to doing something constructive then putzing about online :x My weeks have become incredibly full.
