I've been listening to the studio recording of MCR's "Welcome to the Black Parade" off and on all night and I've finally put my finger on what it reminds me of. It sounds like fricking Les Miserables! They're really going out on a limb here and I love them for it. Right now I'm thinking there's no way they can be accused of being a sell-out. Call me selfish but I don't want them to become mainstream anyway. I *love* that they are different. I *love* that only certain people get them.

I'd hate to see the whole teenybopper thing happen with them like it has done Green Day. I don't wanna see their faces on the front of teen mags such as 17 and Bliss, surrounded by headlines of "10 ways to make your boyfriend jealous" crap lmao.

IMO selling out is surrundering to record company wishes and becomeing mainstream. TBP is sounding - so far - unique and experimental. Nah, definately not selling out.
