The Dodgers beat my Cubbies yesterday 7-2. Today, they are beating us 6-0. We made 3 errors in the first 4 innings including 2 in the second that accounted for 4 unearned runs, but allowed 5 runs to score. The audition didn't go poorly, it just didn't go as well as it could've. I got a laugh from the casting director, which is good. But I didn't read the second side, so it's a no-go.

Re: 2011 -- but that's so far awaaaaay. I've waited 29 years, another 3 won't kill me. I just REEEEAAAAAALY want it.

In a related story, I've decided that I can't read analysis on the Cubs in th playoffs. I can read scouting reports. I can read about other teams. I've discovered that I can read the data, I just can't read other people's interpretations of data on the Cubs. I can't take the hype and subsequent letdown. Also, I can't take another Fukudome whiff. They teach 8 year-olds not to bail out when they swing, why can't they teach Fukudome that trick?
