This is the problem with politicians.  Most of them don't listen to the people talking to them.  Explain how this is a trap, Rep. Bachmann:

Just before the market crashed, I believe I read a sign on a hobo saying that "the End is Nigh." Oh, had we but been a God-fearing people who believed in our shabby clothed vagrants!

I suppose technically she did not call for an investigation. She called for the press to do an exposé. And certainly no one forms judgments based on what the press says...ever...at all. So it was really harmless what she said. After all, real Americans have nothing to hide, so have nothing to fear from such an exposé. Real Americans should be eager to cooperate. And to name names. You...want to be a real American, don't you?
