Just a quick, small question

Hi guys,

I just have a quick, small question to ask. I was wondering if the Vampires off Sanctuary originally came from Bhalasaam in the Himalayas or whether they migrated from another place before settling down in the Himalayas. I'm not sure if it was ever mentioned on the show and if not, I suppose it's open for interpretation?

I thought they said that Bhalasaam was the last vampire city and the place they retreated to at the end, but I could be mistaken.

Didn't they say that it was the "seat" of the ancient vampire culture with a joke about "not Transylvania"? I know I'm a bit late to the party, but I recently watched "Revelations" where they talk about that, and I think that's what they said. "Seat" of the ancient vampire culture and then, they retreated (so, they had to have been there in the first place) after they'd all been sterilized by the Catholic church.
