I have a new plot nubbin and I wanted to see what people thought of it. (Is it good, does it not go far enough, am I being too ambitious)
Ashley was taken by her father when she was three months old. Consequently she is evil. She kills just as easily as he does and he takes her out "hunting".
Henry has lived in the Sanctuary since he was three. He knows that Ashley was kidnapped but has never met her. He is treated as Magnus' son and heir.
Kate deserted her family not long after her father died because she wanted to be away. She was found by Tesla. For reasons she still can't understand he took her under his wing. She's been helping him plan a world takeover for years. She is not a vampire.
Will was living with a family that was abusive so Magnus sent him to James Watson to be trained. He is Watson's protege rahter than Declan and occasionally serves as a body guard.
The remaining members of The Five each get a letter signifying an untold danger to all of them. They meet at the Sanctuary and bring their proteges along with them. They discuss the matter but are unwilling to reunite. Soon they are kidnapped by Adam Worth and his Abnormals (the kind that were sent after Will when he had to remember the message for Magnus).
Now it is up to teh new generation to untie to save their mentors before it all goes to hell in a handbasket. (Gratitious flirting included with no extra charge) Flirting between Will/Ashley and Kate/Henry
