Boy, this'll be easier when I get a computer that works. I've been posting links to my site for each story on the other Sanctuary fic comms, because I can't post to another lj and have the cut thing work. Only my own. Someone explain that (possibly human error, but I used to be able to do that, darn it). It's just as easy to post one url to my site

there are two ways to use an lj-cut (remove all the asterisks, they're just there to break the link)

<*lj-cut>
put everything you want here
<*/lj-cut>

OR

<*lj-cut text="INSERT SOMETHING HERE">
put everything you want here
<*/lj-cut>

if you want to put text before or after the cut, put it outside of the <>.

this will work for ANY post in any comm as long as you follow it exactly.

That's kind of the problem. I have dyscalculia (a close relative of dyslexia, when it comes to the boatload of symptoms outside reading, writing and math) and am HFA. What seems obvious to others is an intense mystery to me. People don't get this because they only see stories and messages like this one that I've gone over and over for mistakes before anyone sees them.

But thanks for the note; I'll copy the contents and keep it where I can find it easily. It's nice and succinct.
