Here is my contribution to plot_wout_porn. It's the only fic I've managed to complete this year and sadly is not nearly as plotty as seems appropriate. Well, there is plotting, but I'm not sure that's quite the same thing. :) Anyway, at least there's no porn. I hope you all enjoy and will strive to do better next year

Oh, thank you so much! I was really worried about writing her. Only done it once before, and I was so worried about getting it wrong I shuffled her off the scene pretty quickly.

Also, sorry the fic is quite so 'shippy. Not really appropriate, I know, but it was all I could come up with.

Shippy fic can be plotty too! The comm isn't supposed to be gen only, not by any means - nor even action/adventure. Besides, you picked a good ship to try and sneak past the censors... ;)

I suppose inside my head, gen fic has come to mean fic in which relationships are backburner things. But what do I know? I thought that was what I was writing last year, but The Worst Journey has only won stuff in Spuffy categories, I think.
