Awesome. Love how you wrote Spikes feeding frenzy there. Vampires need to feed to, don't they? :-) And that blue-eyed dog makes me grin every time! :-D

Well, they do, though we've only seen Spike turn mindlessly savage like this once in canon, so I know I milked it a bit. But feral Spike is one of my favourite kinks and it seemed to fit okay here (unlike some of my other kinks. Ahem!)
Yeah, I have a thing for feral Spike to. :-) And it makes sense to me, as a vampire-LARPer as well. I have had to portray a feeding frenzy many times playing different vampire characters. :-)
Really? Actually, I'm surprised it didn't happen more often in BtVS - or maybe I'm surprised it happened, even only once. I always thought Joss wanted to make sure his vampires didn't have the excuse of just being human-shaped animals.
Terrific chapter - kickass action, interesting developments and great character voices ( "That's very…that's not good.") :)
I find it particularly interesting that after mentioning once that Buffy "eats for two" you never get back to the subject. Methinks it could be a crucial plot point in the finale...

I shan't say anything because I don't know whether you've finished the story yet, but I will just say that my beta wanted me to leave that line out because she thought it was confusing.

So that were the demons that followed them; the outcome was bad, even if they were able to kill some they will have to fight harder when the next team comes after them. And losing the dogs? Very bad. *phew* Apparently Spike has trained the dogs well, didn't hope for them to come back. But they (the dogs) saved them.

Hopefully, it'll be clear by the end. Very glad you're enjoying it.

Yes, definitely. Wihtout them, they would have been in big trouble.
