Ah. Excellent. Always the leader and general, isn't she? Must give her credit for that. :-) Spike with his heart on his sleeve. So very much IC that. :-)

Thank you, and yes for me Buffy's always going to be the leader.

What a powerful chapter. Spike saved the puppy, Wesley saved all the souls W&H possessed. Poor Wes. I secretly hoped that his had noble motives - and he didn't let me down!
And, since it's not the last chapter, I wonder what other surprises await us...

Thanks, Moscow - and I have to say the Spike saving a puppy thing really tickles me too. Hadn't quite thought of it that way, but it's true of course.

This was wonderful, as usual. Loved Spike's rivalry/rapport with the dogs.

Thank you. This isn't quite the end, though. There's a final chapter.

Uh-huh... their enemies are coming nearer again. A good thing to hurry now.
Sounds as if they have to swim for the last part of their task... a sea, how unexpected.

Buffy the dragon slayer. :) Clever how she used the dragon against the demons. (But did she lose the scythe?)

They choose good dogs - they make good fighting dogs too.

Ohhhhh that was the crystal. Even if it was for his own benefit Wesley saved a lot of souls this day.

Yes, and it wasn't entirely for his benefit. All he expected out of it for himself was death, after all.
