Hello comm! This is a very sheepish request and clarification on behalf of me, Miss Mod. The plan, as you may remember, was to have the ficathon this year on the first weekend of August. Nah, doesn't bother me any at all.

I haven't even thought about writing on this yet. I just finished up my Spuffy Wonder fic. Now on to Seasonal Spuffy(due June 21) and angearia's bodyswap ficathon(due July 2-4).

Well, that's what I hoped! But I didn't want to fluster everybody when it turned out that everyone apart from me was going on holiday that weekend. Hope for the best; plan for the worst - that's my motto!

Like most of your probable Writer-conners, no problems here. I quite lime having a posting window beyond long weekend bounds, actually. So many ficathons are weekend posting, it can get to be a treadmill [though that would be my fault for over-committing...].

Aha, an opinion! This is interesting, and probably a good point. My main thinking for putting it on a weekend was always 'I want a shorter-than-a-week period time, so what makes sense? Long weekend', but I suppose this is logic I share with many other people running ficathons...

To be honest, I don't mind making it a week, Friday to Friday. I don't think we'll get too spammy. Does that sound better?

A mistyped opinion, but my own. (Typing, eating, let them not be combined. Especially with limes).

I don't actually mind much, but if you're happy with a week it might be nice to shake up the ficathon weekend posting paradigm...
