It's a disappearing act every other month. We get a scare here and there about the uncertainty of the City, but no one really dies as an effect of the curse. They just kind of disappear for a couple of hours or days, and come back without a scratch on them.
Don't get me started on non-curse related deaths, either.
It's like our lives are on loop.
