The next gathering
My beer fridge is still full... what the hell is wrong with you people?
This time, there will be no semblance of civility; drinking games will be played. Flip-cups, beer pong, quarters, whatever damn drinking game will get rid of the beer.
I have two ways to go with it, either crappy pot-luck or nicely catered.
I'm pondering all food and drink provided for a small door charge, and using that money as a fund raiser to pay for refinishing the dining room table. Sketchy about trying to refinish it myself, but furniture repair is expensive.
For those of you who don't know, something was spilled on the dining room table at a particular party and I was never told about it. Since it was not cleaned up properly, it soaked through the tablecloth and ate through the varnish on the table. Unless someone knows better, this is going to cost me more than a few shekels to repair. I think I can offer a fun time in exchange; the housemate is ok with my hosting kinky parties, so long as I pay for the damages (more than fair). I'm very hesitant about begging to begin with, so if this is a little inappropriate, just let me know and I will drop the idea.
Regardless, I want to throw another little shindig.
