It is the first day of school. And I, Choi Soo Young, am a transferred student to-be in Jook-Tae High School. I already have been into numerous types of school in this country. All-Girls School? Elite School? Art School? ARMY School? You name it. I keep changing schools for every 2 or 3 months. Why do you ask? Most of the teachers say it's because I'm not 'suitable'. I know that what they really mean is that I'm too dumb. Anyways, Jook-Tae High School, here I come!
"Oh God! Please let me stay in this school for good!" I prayed in front of the gate of Jook-Tae High School before I came in.
As I was walking into the entrance, suddenly a tall guy 'accidentally' pushed me to the ground.
"Yah! What was that for?! Are you blind, giraffe-guy?" I shouted to the guy as I brushed off the dirt on my skirt.
"Aish.. Now look what you have done to my school uni-"
Before I could finish my sentence, the giraffe-guy was already like 6 or 7 meters away from me.
"Yah! Giraffe-guy! Pabo!" I shouted at him again.
After a few seconds, he looked back. The guy didn't say anything. He just looked at me with a not-knowing-anything-happen look. But it was kinda cute though. Like a cute potato. Wait! This is not the time! This giraffe-guy just messed with the wrong girl.
"Help me up here!" I said to him. I thought he would at least help me to carry my bag or something but then again, he just walked away! Unbelievable! And I thought of him as a cute potato! Cute face but a cold-heart. Such a waste. Whatever it is, this is my first day. I don't want some idiot to ruin it. I hope I won't be in the same class as that giraffe-guy though.
I took in a few deep breaths and started to walk towards the school. While I was walking through the school hall, all the noise coming from the students suddenly came to a halt. It felt as if I had a curious aura around me. All the students suddenly looked and some were even pointing their fingers like I'm a criminal. I could hear some of them whispering things such as:
"Is she the transferred student?"
"She's going to be the first girl."
"She's the one who's going to be in THAT class."
But mostly?
"She's the ONLY girl."
What's with the ONLY GIRL that they keep talking about? Is it me? Is it because I'm the only stupid girl in this school? Or is it because I'm the only girl who loves food?! Okay, now that's just irrelevant. My forehead doesn't have a written indication about my terrible addiction towards food. I couldn't be that obvious. Right?
After all the whispering, pointing and all, I just can't stand being pati anymore. It pissed me off. That was just not the way to welcome Choi Soo Young! I will defend myself till hunger!
I was about to yell at them and shout what the hell was their problem, when a hand suddenly patted me at the back. I turned around and saw a dumpling-look alike of an old man smiling brightly at me.
"Yes? Is there something wrong, Ahjusshi?" I asked.
The old-man chuckled for a moment and said "Welcome to Jook-Tae High. I'm the principal of this school, Principal Jook."
"Oh, I'm sorry sir. I didn't realize you're the pineapple. I meant Principal!" I bowed nervously. That was so embarrassing!
"Ahaha. You're quite a joker. It seems you can't find your way to the classroom, I suppose?" asked Principal Jook.
I just replied with a nod.
"Well then, Miss Kim!" Principal Jook called someone. Then, a beautiful lady came towards us. She was wearing a pair of spectacles, a black skirt and a white shirt. She's somewhat 5 to 6 cm taller than me.
"Yes, Sir?" said the lady who Principal Jook had called as Miss Kim.
"Would you show Miss Soo Young here to 3-D class?" he said to her.
"Yes, I will sir." Miss Kim obeyed.
Wait! Pause that part. How did Principal Jook know my name? On top of that, how did he know that I'm going to be in 3-D class? I just got here! I'm getting puzzled. Okay, play it again.
"Urm, Sir. If I may ask, how did you know that I am-" Just as I was about to ask him, the school bell rang.
"Oh, is it the time already? Sorry, but I need to go now. Miss Kim, lead Miss Soo Young to her class. And again welcome to Jook-Tae High." Said Principal Jook and left without giving me any chance to finish my question.

"This way, Miss Choi" beckoned Miss Kim. There was nothing else that I could do but follow Miss Kim to 3-D class.
As Miss Kim and I rounded a corner to head straight for my class, there was a cluster of girls screaming as if Bi Rain has just arrived from Incheon Airport.
"Kyaa! Where's my Eeteukkie and Sungminnie?"
"OMO OMO OMO. Yoochun-oppa just winked at me! OMO He winked at me! KYAA!"
"Awww~ Cutesy Bunny Jaejoong is being cheeky with Yunho-oppa again!"
"Ryeowook flipped his hair!! So hot? I'm melting!!!!!!!"
"Si Won's much hotter!!!"
Okay, strange. First there was a cute-potatoish cold-hearted giraffe guy. Next, it was a total sudden silent welcome from the students.Then, came a psychic dumpling-look alike principal. Now, a bunch of screaming fan girls?
I looked at Miss Kim hoping that she was just surprised as I was with the situation but she didn't gave any reaction at all. It was as if this is a normal everyday occurrence. Or is it not?
"Girls! Go back to your classes. The school bell already rang. You can come here again on recess."said Miss Kim to the crazy fan girls.
'You can come here again on recess'? Aaa, what's up with that class? Is it THAT famous? It's not like that class is full of hot guys, right?
"Awww." All of the their faces changed at Miss Kim's order. I chuckled a little (well it was sort of funny). But why oh why I do have to do that? Suddenly, all eyes were on me. Stares and glares were given like poison darts. Well, that was a mistake.
"Oh, so you're the new kid? Lucky for you though. But don't you ever put your dirty fingers on my beloved Changmin!" shouted a voice. I tried to locate where the voice came from. After which, a girl with another 3 of her friends emerged from the crowd to stand straight in front of me. Wait, one of the girls looked familiar though. Well whatever.
"Lucky?" I asked with a puzzled face.
"Oh-ho. Don't you pretend that you don't know. You know very well. Changmin's mine! Got that? And just for the note, remember this name. Jessica Jung. Learn it, live it, love it." Blabbered the girl who just demanded me to remember her name as Jessica Jung.
I thought I want to punch her right at the face by that time but one of her friends cut me off and said "Oh, come on Sica. She's not worth arguing to. She's a newbie. Let her go this time."
"Yeah, Sica. You're much prettier and smarter than her." The other two girls convinced Jessica.
"You're right, girls. Hyoyeon, Sunny, Yuri. Let's go." snapped Jessica. Before she left, she whispered to my ear "I'll let you go this time, newbie."
Urgh! What's up with her? Wait, Hyoyeon? That name. I never heard that name since-
"Is there something wrong, Miss Choi?" Miss Kim suddenly spoke.
"Oh, no. I'm just.. I'm fine." I answered evasively.
"Don't bother arguing with Jessica and her friends. She's always like that." Miss Kim said. Well, she's right though. I don't intend to do anymore trouble. Choi Sooyoung, Aja aja FIGHTING!
"Enough of that, welcome to your classroom." showed Miss Kim to the room, with a boldly engraved '3-D CLASS' on a silver plate. I hope my classmates would make a nice welcome for me. Here goes nothing!
"Meet your new classmates, Miss Choi." said Miss Kim as she opened the door.
The minute Miss Kim pushed the door open, I could see the rays of sunlight flash upon me. It was as if it was giving me a hint of a fresh new start. BUT then, I wasn't expecting this when the only people that I could see in the class were GUYS!
"Eh?" I blinked. My head turned to the right, left, front, back, even in a book! All I could see was a class that is full of God's creation generally known as MALES! Questions flowed through my mind making me even more confused.
"Why? What? Where are all the girls?!" I shouted out of curiosity. The guys in the class only stared at me. I looked at every person and I thought 'wow, they ARE good-looking'. Snap out of it Choi Sooyoung! Think about food!! Food? Fo-
"Aaaa! Giraffe-guy!" I pointed to the guy sitting at a corner of the room. Just this morning I thought I won't be seeing this guy again. This wasn't my lucky day! Does God hate me that much?
"Miss Choi, I knew that you will be shocked by this. Let me explain." said Miss Kim trying to calm me down.
"Miss Kim. What is going on here? This is a joke right? This got to be a joke!! Wait, there's no way it had to be a joke. Maybe the girls are on P.E? But the guys-"
Before I could say further, Miss Kim put her finger on my lips and gently said "Miss Choi, you are..."
Oh, the horror.
"Eeeeeeehh!!! I'M THE ONLY GIRL???!!!!!"
