In a hectic condition, I ran to class like a maniac. I was already 30 minutes late. Because of that stupid subject humans call 'Mathematics' driving me crazy last night, I slept late. Damn you internet! I also couldn't help myself from watching Japanese dramas while trying to understand the definition of Algebraic Expression.

"I'm so dead, I'm so dead" I muttered under my breath repetitively.

When I reached the front of the class, I was quite astounded to see not a single girl screaming, shouting, yelling or screeching their voices by the windows of the class.

"Oh yeah, I'm late." I thought as I quickly turned the door knob of my class.

Mr. Dook who is our Chemistry teacher was writing on the blackboard but he stopped when he saw me. All of the guys also stopped with all their on me.

"You're late, Mister Choi." The teacher said. Then, the whole class burst out laughing.
"She's a girl, Dookie! She's not like Jae and Heechul!" Ye Sung told Mr. Dook irreverently.
"Yesung, stay after class! And I'm very sorry for my misunderstanding Miss Choi."
"Urm. It’s okay. Can I sit down now?" I asked, hoping he allow me to go to my seat.
"Of course." He smiled. But then he changed his face, "Unfortunately you're late to class. You can sit after my class is finished. Out!" he roared angrily, pointing to the door.

"Yes, sir." I stuttered, walking out from the class.

-------------------

I stood at the hallways, kicking the air impatiently while waiting for the class to end.

"Ouch, ouch" Yesung cried out, Mr Dook dragging him with his hand on Yesung's ear.
"Stop wailing for God's sake! Be a man!" Mr Dook pulled his ear with more force, making Yesung yelled out with pain. Mr Dook turned to me and said, "Miss Choi, you may get in."
"Yes, sir. Thank you, sir." I bowed before hurriedly going inside. Mr Dook gave a nod and dragged YeSung to I don't even know where. To the Prinicipal's office I presume.

It was History, so again there's no teacher. I walked up to my seat to put down my backpack when I realized the horror. The desk was scraped off with a paperknife and drawn with markers all over with crude and vulgar words. The chair wasn't spared. It had one leg missing!

"Tough luck." Yoochun said with his chin on his palms. He was sitting beside my seat.
"How considerate of you." I snapped, ignoring him.

The chair was too horrible and too unstable even for a rat to sit on. Someone tapped my shoulder from the back. It was Yunho.

"Here, take mine. I'll get a new one later." He held out his chair to me.
"And don't worry." An arm around my neck, "They will get over it, later on." The person smiled at me; it was Jaejoong. He looked like a real boy today, I thought.

I replaced my chair with Yunho's and the three of us ended up chatting together.

"Sorry for not accompanying you yesterday in class." Yunho said apologetically. "Most of the guys in this class are huge fans of Yoona."
"Haha yeah. You don't have to tell me twice." I said.
"You seemed to have made friends with the trio." Yunho shot a glance at Eunhyuk, Junsu and Shindong.
"They're nice."
"I couldn't have agreed with you more."
"Hey, Sooyoungie. Wanna go have recess together? The both of us are free today." Jaejoong interrupted.

"Urmm.. maybe tomorrow. I got something to do." I declined, remembering Jessica's threat letter.
"Ya, almost two days after you're here and you're already busy?" Jaejoong gave me a gentle nudge and chuckled.
"Haha.. yeah." I faked a laugh. Quickly, I changed the topic, "Hey, Jaejoong. You look normal today."
"Eh?" Jaejoong stunned, touching his hair hoping that his hair clip was there. "Argh! I have blown my cover!" he exclaimed. Yunho heaved a sigh and shook his head.
"C'mon Jae, surely the trio already told her. You're not going to hide it from her till the end of the year, won't you?"
"You got a point there. Sorry for not telling you earlier. You must have thought I'm gay didn't you?" Jaejoong guessed.
"Yeap."
"Thought so."

"So… you got invited to Jessica's party?" Yunho said. I gave him a nod.
"You all saw me, right?" I pointed out. Yunho pulled out a fake chuckle but then he stopped.

Suddenly, the three of us didn't talk.

"Decide anything to wear?" Jaejoong asked, trying to avoid the silence.
"Urm.. yeah."
"Great."

There was silence again.

"Okay, you guys are freaking me out!" I exclaimed.
"Sorry. But we are both worried because this is JESSICA we're talking about." Yunho calmed me down.
"Yeah. I don't want you to become like Seohyun nor Tiffany. Wait, you know the story right?"
"Yes. Some people told me yesterday."
"Good! Now, if anything happens at the party this Saturday, be sure to know that we will always be there for you." Yunho said putting his palm on my shoulder.

I was shocked that both of them would do that for me.
"Why are you guys are so nice to me? I just got here. I never helped you guys or anything." I frowned.
Jaejoong replied with a sincere smile on his face.

"Simple. Because we're friends."

It was recess.

‘GIRLS' BATHROOM’

The text above was engraved in all capital letters on a silver plate, nailed at the upper middle of the pink door. Reading the text gave me quite a chill. It's weird for someone to be afraid of toilets. But this is exceptional. I'm saying this because I am about to decide and going to face someone who might change my life. For the first time in my whole life, I never thought that I'll ever face something like this.

"Here it goes Choi Sooyoung." I inhaled a lot of oxygen before turning the doorknob.

When I got in, I was shocked to see the room. There was a small sized chandelier at top, an overly modern sink, a rack of toiletries (there were even perfumes!) and 2 pink couches at the side. I was about to have a look at the toilets when somebody popped out of nowhere and called my name.

"Oh, it's you." I saw the girl named Hyoyeon in front of me.
"Here you go." She held out the two dresses that Jessica had mentioned in the letter.
"Okay." I was about to take the black one when she stopped me.
"No, you should take both. Jessica doesn't want to know what your answer is yet."
"Got it." And I properly took both of the dresses.

The green one was a hand-made and is modernly-looking but the black one was couture and vintage like it was made from the 19th century.

"Sooyoung." Hyoyeon said my name. I was startled.
"Err.. yes?"
"I want--" her phone rang.
"Excuse me. Hello?" she took the phone call. After a few yes, no, and okay, she hung up.
"I have to go." She said, and hurriedly ran out.
After she was out of sight, I murmured to myself.

"Her eyes … it looked familiar. It seemed like she wanted to tell me something."

--------------------

The school bell rang, a sign that I should get into class. Then, I realized I have no idea where to put the dresses. With a quick thought, I had to force myself to ruin it by stuffing them in my locker. After a few tries, pushing, and puffing like crazy, I yelled.

"FINALLY!!!"

Oh, no. People would be staring at me now. I looked around me but there was nobody. Got lucky again, eh?

Without haste, I ran to my class. When I got in, there was not a single person in there. Where did all of them went, I thought.
"Ya!" someone called out. When I turned around, it was Junsu. Beside him was Changmin. What's he doing there?

"It's P.E.! Go to the gym." Junsu shrieked his voice like a dolphin. I noticed both of them weren't wearing any of their gym slips or whatsoever. They hadn't changed their clothes.
"What about you guys?" I asked.
"We? Ah, we got other … things to do." Junsu said. By the look of his face, I could tell he doesn't want to tell me what their actual reason to skip P.E. was.
"Urm … alright. So, see ya in the next class." We bade farewells (except Changmin) and I off to go to the gym.

--------------------

Sitting at the bench and not joining any activities felt so … boring. I sat with Shindong who kept eating turkey sandwiches.

"Why can't I be a boy?" I sighed deeply, trying to start a conversation to decrease the boredom.
"Mwo? Why do you want to be a boy? Hey, you're lucky, you know." Shindong said, munching the sandwich.
"Lucky? It's BORING! Now, for a whole year I can't play any activities in P.E just because I'm the only girl in class. Ugh!" I growled, crossing my arms.
"Well, for me it's fun."
"Why don't you join them?" I asked, realizing he even didn't went to P.E
"Oh, I gave an excuse for today. Actually, I never play in P.E. I always lose."

Suddenly, Shindong changed the topic.
"How does it feel like to get invited to Jessica's party?"
"I know that you know that I'm really tense about this."
"Sorry. But you know…" Shindong looked around before he continues.
"What?"
"I could tell you what Jessica's deepest darkest weakness is."

"EHH? She actual has one of those. What? Kryptonite? Who told you anyway?"
"Pipe down! And this is not Superman we're talking about. This is an evil villain." He whispered, "Junsu told me this. Her weakness is…" he went closer and whispered. My eyes widened and I blurted out

"Cucumbers??!"
