Irrational Thoughts and Decisions

As you all know, me and mine are coming back California in December to stay. People here have said that it is silly for me to quit this job and just go where they send me and retire. This job, while providing valuable experience, is damaging my psyche so that is a no-go

Have you considered Berkeley or Oakland? I have a couple of co-workers that live in Davis and commute to San Francisco every day. Going the other way would probably be less traffic. Then you'd have both. :)

Ya mean live in Oakland and work in San Jose?

I actually am applying for a job in Oakland, don't really have all the qualifications but its a pathology assistant job with decent pay. I am looking a poking dead things with the counties all around Santa Clara. Each county has kinda got them though some are special sherriff deputy positions and I really aren't into that, had my fill of uniforms.
