I've realized why I don't watch much tv, I mean regular everyday tv beyond certain shows that I record and then fast forward through commercials. I don't like being told what to think about things, about people, and about events

Have you ever read Amusing Ourselves to Death? It's from the mid 1980s originally. I cranked through it recently because I'd heard of it, and I actually disagree with a lot of what the author says, but he does say some interesting things
