I love my show, SO MUCH. Which is why it hurts so much to see it go down in flames.

This episode was awesome . . .until the second half.

Was it just me, or did Allison Mack’s delivery of that line about staying with Lois seem like she was only pacifying Clark? See, I thought she told him that and planned to go snooping. Apparently not.

FYI, the whole reason I liked the beginning was because Chloe started the investigation. She wasn’t clueless to what was going on, which she is sometimes until Clark brings her in on it. I hate when they do that. Chloe is a journalist, and a damn good one. She picks up on the little things, which was demonstrated tonight by her confusion at Lex’s statement and subsequent actions.

Kudos to the writers for that.

But, again, addressing my first statement, the episode fell apart . . .in my eyes at least.

I should confess now, the only reason I watch the show is for Chloe, and Lex . . . and the seconds that they sometimes exchange a word or two.

Needless to say, having Clark come in and solve the problem in two seconds really bugged me. Especially since they never showed how the situation with Lex in the barn worked out. That created major drama, and then was never resolved. I was all excited during the commercial, to see what happened next, and then it comes back to Papa Kent the hospital. How the HELL did they get there?!

And then, when I think it can’t get any worse they end the episode with Lana. Now, she hasn’t really been bothering me lately, because she has her own story line, and doesn’t get in the way of my characters. But what the hell was she thinking when she was talking to Lex. He SAID he didn’t remember anything, so why would you go and tell him he professed his love to you? Are you trying to make things more awkward for him? She should have kept her mouth shut, but of course she couldn’t resist talking about how hurt and uncomfortable she was.

I’ve got a suggestion for you Lana, just go away and die.

Oh! And what was with her going to Clark when Lex kicked her out? Why didn’t she go to her boyfriend? And THEN they had to dive right into the ClarkandLanaaremeantforeachothereeeeeeeee! shit.

So basically, the episode may have started out great, but I’m only going to remember what I didn’t like.

I’m gonna go watch my Season One DVDs and cry now.
