New Year's Resolutions

I like coming up with ten resolutions each year, to give me focus and to mean that I don't have to achieve them all to feel good about myself. So how did I do last year?

1/ Knit from stash patterns as much as possible, rather than constantly acquiring new ones.
Yes, I did pretty well on this. I only bought one pattern, and that was to make a gift for a friend, so I'll call that a win.
2/ Knit/crochet some big things. Probably more knitting than crochet for this since I'm much better at that.
One big thing, it's a start. Also, technically 1 3/4, since I'm partway through another.
3/ Remember how much I love sewing and pyrography and things like that, and do more of them.
I've had to push myself on this, but I think overall I've achieved it.
4/ Actually finish a Warhammer and 40k army rather than always playing with unpainted minis.
I dropped the Warhammer section since we just don't play that, but my Necron army is finished collecting, and my Guard army is all painted, so overall I reckon I've achieved this.
5/ Write more.
I wrote a fic that turned into pretty much a novel, so I'd say I managed that.
6/ Keep on track with the losing weight plan, don’t give up just because it’s worked a bit.
Not so good sadly, I'm still the same weight I was at the start of the year.
7/ Organise the loft and third bedroom.
Loft, definitely. Third bedroom, not so much. It suffers from being the room things get put in when we're working on other places.
8/ Seriously sort out the unwanted GW minis before they take over the house.
DONE! So pleased with myself for climbing this mountain. There are still models we don't need and could do with getting rid of, but they're manageable and stored and that's pretty awesome.
9/ Stop beating up on myself, or at least stop it as much as possible. (note to self: DO NOT beat up on myself if I fail this one. It would get too meta)
Ups and downs on this, but overall I think I've done ok.
10/ Send more random gifts to friends. Everyone likes them and it makes me happy to do so.
Incidentally, if anyone wants to give me their address so they could be a target for this, I'm collating them at http://plucky-lass.livejournal.com/316846.html#comments )
I managed a few at the beginning of the year, then I kind of forgot. So I'm going to be doing a bit more of this going forward anyway.

And this year:

1/ Find a permanent job. Kind of an obvious one, but also rather important.
2/ Get my weight down to 12 stone. I'm hoping having a set goal will make it easier.
3/ Cut down to two facebook games at any point. Which means I'll have to go delete one now, but they are such a time sink. I will allow having a third for the girls to play, as long as I don't play it (since otherwise I'd probably eventually delete the one they currently love playing with and then I'd feel evil).
4/ Keep making time to write.
5/ Practice guitar more.
6/ Organise our bedroom and the quiet room.
7/ Sew more, particularly things for real life rather than larp and particularly particularly things from patterns I already own.
8/ Watch dvds when Alan is out for the evening instead of just leaving on whatever rubbish is on tv just for the company.
9/ Take daily vitamins. I know I eat reasonably well but I figure it's worth trying to see if it will improve my health.
10/ Reduce craft stash mountain. Fabric, leather, yarn, beads... really, I have a fair bit that I could stand to use rather than buying stuff where possible.
