Ian also reported that Sam and Ellie flat refused to come because of that attitude, so I guess I'm not the only one.

The organiser has replied to my email - he ignored the request to stop referring to women and children separately from people, acknowledged that they've had complaints from some people but they wouldn't be changing their policy. Also they have several female members of the games club, and I was free to pay for entry if I wanted.

I replied to ask again that they stop distinguishing between people and women, and stated that I wouldn't be paying for entry under their current set up as I wouldn't be able to enjoy the same benefits of respect and equal recognition that men get for their money.
