YAY and also NAY

I have two things to say about this episode and one of them is CRANKY ALL CAPS.

1. Elena's story just got interesting! Yay. I am very much enjoying this development and the way it effects her relationship with Stefan, and the way they both choose to react to it. I have wondered before at the absence of Future!Angst (TM), but of course, it all makes perfect sense: Elena does not think she will have a future to angst about. I love how strong she is and how calmly she is defending and facing her decision. What I love even more is that she calls Stefan out on the fact that he would do the same for her in the blink of an eye; and again more that Stefan dismisses that with the perfect reason. It is perfect and very interesting.
2. OMG BONNIE I AM SERIOUSLY NOT COOL WITH YOUR MINDRAPING AT ALL WHILE YOU CONTINUE TO NOURISH A HOLIER THAN THOU ATTITUDE AND I JUST HOPE THERE WILL BE SOME MAJOR REPURCUSSIONS FOR THIS BECAUSE OMG, SO NOT OKAY. WHAT. WHAT DID YOU DO DID YOU EVEN THINK. EVEN JEREMY KNEW BETTER.
