Well, yesterday I managed to finally watch a movie version of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. I will admit that it had many qualities. That canary! Anyhow, I was watching K-PAX with my dad at the time, and I didn't want to throw away such a beautiful Bonding Moment. If not for that, I would have gone. My heart truly ached for having to deal with this difficult dilemma.

I believe I have been told that once or twice, yes, but I certainly do appreciate hearing it anew nonetheless! Thank you.

Although to be honest, this is more of a Tom Stoppard accuracy issue than of a Shakespearean accuracy one. These blemishes that so annoyed me were changes to the storyline of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, set to the backdrop of Hamlet. The original Hamlet scenes themselves are as accurate and pristine as one should expect, at least. If the movie-makers had tried to make Hamlet more comic, I would have had to stop watching it immediately.
