craziness in the key of E minor
This week is not dragging on as much. In fact, it's kind of going by quickly.
okay, first off, I am not going to post the whole quote list from this summer. I am just going to post some good quotes with an explination:

On the third night of camp, all the happy Appel Farmers were at snack. We were all sitting around one of the tables when Alex Smith brushed by. As he walked past Alanna he accidentally touched Alanna, triggering that exchange. Alanna just sat there in silence, bewildered and violated, but we love Ales so it is okay.

For all of you that don’t know, I had my first kiss during a game of spin the bottle summer of 2001 (going into 7th grade). Connor Paolo, one of my closest guy friends at camp was the lucky guy the bottle landed on. We go through this every summer, he doesn’t remember the kiss at first, Kara, and Michelle, who were both there have to convince him that it’s true. Then I tell him that it was like kissing a dead fish, and he tries to defend himself, then he remembers, admits he was bad, says that I wasn’t to good myself and we resume normal conversation. Anywho, this summer when I told him about the first kiss, he responded with that quote. It was all in good fun though.

For the first couple of days of camp, we were getting changed in front of the window, what we didn’t realize was that our curtains were sheer. One night, while getting undressed, Jeff Peck told us to shut the blinds, we looked around and realized we were all half naked, and proceeded to feel really embarrassed, and we moved to the other side of the bunk to change.

It was thunder storming, and the entire hill was stuck inside the bunk, sans counselors. Interbunk visitation started, and soon, all of bunk 23 and some of 22 were in our bunk, in just bra’s having a dance party. Kara, Hannah, Sasha and I were sitting on Sara’s bed taking this all in, when Kara comes out of the bathroom and says the said quote.

At the CIT coffee trip, Jon-o decides he wants to emcee the open mic. And out of no where he said that. The sad thing is, it’s totally true.

It was Alica’s day off, at we were having full bunk girl talk after lights out on Sara’s bed. Sara’s boyfriend Alan came up in conversation, and we decided we wanted to call him. This is what Jackie almost said to him. Luckily I was the one to answer the phone when he called. I just told him we know a lot more about him then he may feel comfortable with. Oh my.

Leah and Isaac: sigh, how cute. It was later established that Leah did not think 10 was a long time for a kiss… just for a first kiss. I love her.

Matt Sisson is one of the heads of the camp. When he knocked on the door and asked for “Rachel V.” Alanna thought it was Greg Brav asking for “Rachael B.” (ME!), Now Alanna, not opening the door to double check who it was responded with an overtly sexual reply. Whoops.
-" Your ancestors really owned slaves?" -Alex Levitt
Oh Alex Levitt. Jessica, the counselor in bunk 22, and who we sat with at every meal, grew up in Mississippi. It was an ongoing joke that she was a slave owner. Alex, being the most gullible person believed her. This is a lot funnier if you knew Alex Levitt.
-" It's doggy porn...Louise your taking doggy porn pictures!" - Sasha
After dinner one night, Louise and Jess took Jackie, Sasha, Hannah and me across the road to see Nina, Louise’s adorable doggy. We found out Louise has a digital camera and she really only uses it to take pictures of her dog. But she wouldn’t let us look at all the pictures. Sasha though she was doing pornographic things with her dog. This is not true.
okay, next. Hmmm highlights of the last couple of days: Dinner at Le Bec Fin for my sisters birthday. It's nice having a neighbor that owns an expensive fancy shmancy resturant. Lex is so old, I can't stand it! Saturday night the whole Bralow clan, plus Jen (my sisters friend) and Michelle went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I thought it was enjoyable. Woot woot operation Chochofac. Sunday I saw Michelle yet again, Michelle and SASHALASH! She was in teh city for a night and we all slept over chez Michelle, and it was nice to spend time with them (not like I haven't seen Michelle enough... but I lubs her.
SAT prep this week has been boring as all hell. The internship keeps getting better though. I really am loving it, really cool people there.
I ran in to junior leauge with my mom, and Cecilia was working and Chickens and Phibs were visiting and it was the highlight of my yesterday.
Today was a pretty good. I got 2 letters today. One from Bess, and one from Jackie. Bess is the most adorable person on the face of the world... and the letter from Jackie was so super. I miss her so much. I wish camp was over for her so I could talk to her all the time. Oh gosh.
Tonight I went to the movies with Jennie. We saw Must Love Dogs. It wasn't very good, but I missed her and it was nice to spend time with her, which we will be doing again shortly.
Now I must go call Leah.
