Excellent review! I needed this to remind me of the story. I've enjoyed Stephanie so much that I can't help but read ahead.

I loved, loved Lula stunning Joyce. Repeatedly. So funny!

Sally Sweet was a great addition to Stephanie growing circle of zany friends. Poor Mr. Plum!

I was a bit disappointed that Joe and Stephanie a break through in their relationship and had sex. I was worried that it would ruin the sexual tension for future books, but I've seen that Evanovich has handled that well, and things are as tense as ever.

Stephanie is still death on cars. And everyone in the burg carries a gun!

Grandma Bella? I'm voting for evil AND plain nuts.

1.What were your thoughts on the story?
I love the “Jersey” talk; “probably I shouldn’t worry”, “probably he doesn’t have a gun”.
This is the first book where Ranger shows any real romantical type interest in Stephanie. Stop confusing my girl, she likes Joe!
My favorite scene? Well I laughed out loud and disturbed my children (too bad, so sad) when Steph and Ranger were taking down Norvil and she was covered in food. When Lula called her a “big corn dog” I about did myself an injury. I also like how Stephanie has these “weird thoughts” as she calls them. She figures it out. No flies on her.

2. What did you think of Joyce?
As a literary device she makes a great foil. Everyone needs a nemesis, yeah? As a FOS (Friend of Steph) I’d like to rip her face off. Just sayin’.
I kicked Joyce in the shin. I draw the line at cunt. Me too Steph, me too.
I love Lula tasering Joyce at every opportunity.

3. What did you think of Stephanie and Joe?Stephanie and Joe are my OTP. As dysfunctional as their relationship seems, there is history, there ( ... )
