Wishes, wishes, and more wishes

Call me curious, but if you could wish for anything what would it be? I won't say why I'm asking, because that's for me to know and for you to possibly find out.

I remember back in the Mushroom Kingdom how I would always make wishes, and those pesky Star Spirits wouldn't do a thing about it! Sure, they'd grant the wishes of other people, like

Wishes don't come true anyway. I have ambitions- those are achievable.

Hah, maybe in your world, but in mine, wishes are granted by the Star Spirits...but since I've got the Star Rod, I can grant any wish I have in an instant.

Now, where's the fun in that? I'd rather pulverize that plumber and his brother myself...the Star Rod just makes it easier for me.
