I thought I would post an update here; my father has received new batteries for his scooter from a very kind, very religious lady. We are super grateful for this - it means he can take himself to the store & back without any worries. He should be good for the next couple of years as well. I have ultimately decided to depart from livejournal. I like Dreamwidth, I like Livejournal - I hate having fourteen different blogs. That is super annoying. I just don't know what medium is best for me at this point.
