traveling the world via literature

Feb 18, 2000 14:40

Suddenly, as I was copying the names of the millions of islands in the world into this table, I felt like I would never actually be able to read books for all of these countries... ;_;

Anyway, this list is taken from Wikipedia. It includes 193 ~sovereign states~ and 10 states with de facto sovereignty. And since I copy-pastaed this thing manually (from a document on my computer), I hope I didn't miss any countries (or make any typos...).
