Well it is now 30 days until my flight to Ethiopia. There is a huge psychological difference I felt from 40 days to 30 days....now it seems like my flight is any second now. and there is so much still to do...not with Ethiopia per se, I've decided on just winging it with the visa and I'll get the one at the airport when I arrive, and besides that ( Read more... ) -

I voted!
It took me maybe 45 minutes total, including walking time from 41st and Main to 39th and Broadway to the polling place.
Easy, Painless and now I have a little sticker that says I've done my civic duty.

50 days
50 days til I fly to Ethiopia. I still haven't dealt with my visa. I should call the embassy today if I can remember. Vaccines still are a couple weeks away. I'm not super concerned with getting things done for the trip since there's not much left to do ( Read more... ) -
tea-dying
I'm attempting to tea-dye some nice fitting, but ugly colored nearly white pants. Right now they're on the stove boiling with tea.
I'll either have some medium brown pants or I'm going to set my apartment on fire.

getting rid of crap
