Hey, how was the driving/parking/crowdedness at the Fair? (We've heard mixed reviews.)

Well, the driving was fine most of the way. When we got to exit 50 it was backed up 45 minutes, so we opted to take exit 51 and park in the overflow parking. From there we took the shuttle bus to the fair, all without incident. And we saved $5 by parking in the overflow lot, as opposed to the fair lot (which surely was full anyway).

It was the densest crowd I've seen to date at the Fair, but that was likely because it was such a beautiful day, and the previous day it had rained so I imagine a lot of people postponed a day. Still, it was a wonderful time. :-) And food!

plumtreeblossom: I can’t! I feel sick! How much is it?

(And then she made a valiant effort, eating about a third of it!)

I forgot to mention the fudge and candy fruit slices we bought to bring to our workplaces. The fruit slices were a hit here! How is the fudge faring? :-)
