yeah, with boy dogs and cats, they're left with a little empty sack. It's like a little rutter (sp? like the thing at the back/bottom of a boat) for their penis. You can actually buy fake balls to put into the sack, so as far as the dog knows, someone knocked it out and injured its nutsack, but everything is still there and it's calmer.
