Your point is well made, and I concur. Pray, accept me as an ally in the ongoing war against this poor diction, whether modern or anachronistic.

It gladdens me to find you more or less well, though I must offer my apologies for my failure to recognize either you or your housemate at the recent convention. If it is any consolation, your costume did appear to be of good craftsmanship, even if I had never heard of the character on whose apparel it was based.

In any event, I hope your birthday is joyfully met! May the grace of God bless and keep you through this coming year and all others that follow.

At last, another who finds the abbominiable diction enforced upon us this day. I take no offence at the failure to recognize my outfit, but rather present my frustration to the universe at the similarities between the variety of characters at which I could be percieved. I thank you for your praise of the craftsmanship, but I am afraid I must direct all of the value of those accolades to mymother, whose skill in the craft far exceeds mine.

Thus far, the day has been met with marginal success, owing primarily to the intercession of an examiniation, which while possible in group, contributes greatly to the marginalization.
