I'm working with an open source app called StoryBook.  Supposedly, it's designed to help people organize their stories, with an emphases on novel writing.  I don't want to write a novel, but I'm bored, so I'm just gonna go with it.  I just love messing around with all types of open source software.

As an aside: I would love to have a cheap/free app

For grammar I use the languages I installed in Firefox.

I even created a local edit html page, so that I can edit a larger amount of text ...

Firefox has a grammar check function?
