+++ the contrast on this icon is perfect, lovely rich colouring.

~ This blend is a good idea but the larger pic should've been the one to show more emotion (the smile) as at the moment it looks like a repeated image. The icon is perfectly sharpened & I love the lighting too but the red is a bit unflattering on the skin, perhaps masking it away would've been natural on the lovely Rose?

~ The crop is very creative & image choice was smart as it's naturally colourful however its a smidge dark + undersaturated, try a Brightness/Contrast layer + a little Vibrance one too to brighten her up :)
~ The coloring is really good, but the icon is a bit too dark. Brighten it a little and it'll be an awesome icon.

~ Firstly, AWESOME text choice. The image of ten, though, is a little awkward as his brow is really dark, perhaps moving him over or adding a little light up there would break that up.

~ this ok is so similar to mine, great minds ;) A little feedback though: It feels like Rose is alot bigger than Nine, even though she's taking up 50% of the icon, perhaps if she was a little smaller? And a smoother line inbetween them? Great colour & lighting though!

~ Your use of space + choice of colour + space are awesome! Only concrit is that the icon is lacking contrast causing Rose to blend in more than stand out as the subject, a Ctrl+Alt+Shit+E softlight layer would do it :)

+++ Great use of light and dark.
++ Black and white icons are hard to do right but I love this. The contrast between the darker background on Nine and the lighter on Rose works really well, and the foggy effect on the right fits the mood of the icon rather well.
~ AWESOME blend, I love how Nines dark & Rose is light! One bit of feedback though: The lack of contrast blend them into the background, a contrast layer or exposure layer to blacken blacks + whiten whites would really make them pop.
