An old good friend of mine died over the weekend. We went to HS together, and also we went to EMU together (living in the same dorm). He was an awesome friend! Always upbeat and positive and stuff...

... and i come to learn today that he committed suicide.

Uhm - WHAT!?

Thanks. I totally don't get it! He was the most put together guy i knew - or so I thought!

I know you'd appreciate this... he went to Israel to understand his Jewish heritage. I remember him telling me about his trip. he was so happy/excited.

Thanks. I definitely have to be strong.... my friend, Melissa, just saw him last week. she called me today absolutely balling. I am going to go to the funeral with her, and my other friend, Krista.

Kinda crazy how something so sad brings people together who haven't seen eachother in a long time.

Thanks Kristin. It's crazy how somethign so awesome (buying a house) and something so terrible (Sam dying) can happen in one week!
